McCloud Services, founded in 1904, is a leading provider of integrated pest management for the commercial marketplace, serving food service, health care, hospitality, property management and retail across 11 Midwestern states and protecting more than half of the largest food-related brands in the U.S. Because pest management can account for up to 20% of a facility’s third‑party audit score, McCloud faced a major challenge: cumbersome paper documentation—licenses, certificates, pest activity and trend reports, corrective action records—kept in large binders that were difficult to update and manage for GFSI‑compliant audits.

To solve this, McCloud implemented PestPac LogIt, an iPad app that digitizes logbooks and centralizes documents, pop‑up expiry reminders, log entries, SDS labels and inspection/trend reports. Within a year, service specialists realized 15–20% time savings and customers avoided rifling through thick notebooks, while McCloud gained easier compliance management and a marketable advantage in offering a digital audit solution.
