How Kane Brewing Uses WorkWave Route Manager To Improve Their Business

Kane Brewing Company, founded in 2011 in Ocean Township, NJ, grew quickly into the state’s third-largest brewery and began distributing statewide. That rapid expansion — its delivery fleet grew from one to five trucks — made manual route planning untenable: sales and distribution director Derek Fleming had to break down individual routes himself, drivers spent about 10 minutes between stops reconfiguring their software, and meeting customer time windows created stress and wasted time.

After implementing WorkWave Route Manager 360 with mobile GPS tracking, Kane automated and optimized routing, freeing 45–60 minutes in the office each day and about 3.5 hours per driver per day (Fleming also notes roughly five hours saved per week on route assignments). The system supports custom truck/driver parameters, reduces mileage and fuel waste, and enables the brewery to handle peak seasons and customer time windows with more stops and no added staff.
