Ryanair's Employee Engagement Levels Soar to New Heights With Workvivo

Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline, needed a better way to communicate with its 24,000 largely non-office-based employees across cockpits, cabins, and support teams. After its old intranet, Fleet Tweet, proved to be one-way and lacked analytics, the airline chose Workvivo to improve internal communications, engagement, and talent management.

Workvivo delivered a mobile-first employee communication platform that Ryanair rolled out in about six weeks, giving staff access to comms, rosters, payslips, and more. The results included 90% employee registration, around 13,000 active weekly users, a 30% increase in internal applications for head office roles, and 250 questions submitted directly to CEO Eddie Wilson through Workvivo spaces and surveys.
