A WORKTERRA Case Study
Turlock Irrigation District, a long-established California utility provider, needed to modernize its benefits administration after years of using a manual, paper-based enrollment and payroll process across a widely dispersed workforce. The district sought a solution with employee self-service and payroll integration, and selected WORKTERRA for its new benefits administration platform.
WORKTERRA implemented an online benefits enrollment and administration system that launched in time for the 2012 enrollment year. The solution reduced administrative burden, improved efficiency, and was widely adopted by employees; while no exact numbers were provided, the district reported that the system met its goals and became even more valuable as benefits offerings expanded.
