OLV Human Services Doubles Program Participation

OLV Human Services, a 950‑employee non‑profit, was grappling with a 25% turnover rate and an outdated, time‑consuming recognition program that left its dispersed workforce disconnected. To improve retention and engagement, OLV partnered with WorkTango (formerly Kazoo) and implemented WorkTango’s Recognition & Rewards and Surveys & Insights capabilities.

WorkTango’s solution used Behavior Bonuses, recognition and rewards, and targeted employee surveys to incentivize onboarding, training and service awards and to boost participation in wellness and team‑building. The program drove a 94% increase in survey response rates, a 30% reduction in voluntary and involuntary terminations, 2× participation in wellness/team initiatives, 10× more employee recognition than expected, and used just 13.5% of the estimated rewards budget in the first eight months.
