Alarm.com, a security software company with about 2,100 employees, needed a more deliberate and scalable culture of recognition after rapid growth and multiple mergers and acquisitions. WorkTango implemented peer-to-peer recognition, incentives, automated milestone celebrations, and budgeting tools, with a phased rollout that included IT, managers, and then the broader company. Alarm.com also used WorkTango to support onboarding, compliance training, referrals, and manager engagement initiatives, including friendly competitions and leadership-led experiences. The results included 85.7% manager platform engagement in 2023, faster compliance training and open enrollment completion, increased employee referrals, smoother post-M&A culture integration, and a positive impact on sales performance.
