OHM Advisors, an architecture, engineering and planning firm with more than 500 employees, needed to improve performance for remote power users working with large CAD files and drone data. The company wanted to create an “in-office” experience for distributed staff while also making future M&A integration faster and easier, and chose Workspot GPU cloud workstations to help address the challenge.

Workspot implemented Workstation Cloud in Microsoft Azure, placing GPU cloud workstations in the Azure region closest to each user. With Workspot, OHM Advisors now processes drone data at least two hours faster, and remote users report workstation performance that is as good as or better than on-premises systems, improving productivity and helping the firm realize business value more quickly from acquisitions.
