A Workplace from Meta Case Study

Preview of the Shoulder Case Study

The effectiveness of live videos impacts employee and customer satisfaction

Shoulder, a Brazilian womenswear retailer with 61 stores across 15 states and 1,100 employees, faced the challenge of connecting a dispersed retail workforce, improving internal communications and boosting employee engagement and customer service. To modernize its communications and reach a younger workforce, Shoulder implemented Workplace from Meta as the company-wide collaboration and engagement platform.

Workplace from Meta was rolled out with groups, live video, mobile access and Workchat, enabling real‑time training, CEO broadcasts and content sharing. In the first month 75% of employees joined, more than 135 groups were created, 80% are monthly active users and 93% use the mobile app; employee involvement doubled versus the prior network, a CEO live video reached over 700 people and marketing live tips hit 400+ views in under three days. By replacing WhatsApp and email workflows, Workplace from Meta sped decision‑making, improved product knowledge at stores and increased customer‑facing performance and sales.
