Telenor, a global telecommunications operator with 34,000 employees across 13 markets, needed a modern communications platform to support agile expansion and connect distributed teams. Workplace from Meta provided groups, live video, audio/video chat and org-chart features that made communication immediate and secure; three quarters to 88% of employees now use Workplace (with over half on mobile) and there are 324 active groups. The platform sped decision-making and innovation—research shared in a company group reached senior leaders and national press within a day, Town Halls became interactive with live broadcasting, and teams report more meaningful, productive collaboration.
