Airtel’s retail business, which operates in 22 circles across India through a network of owned and franchisee stores, struggled to keep leadership connected to hundreds of geographically dispersed frontline employees; store visits by leaders were rare and many employees wondered whether their everyday efforts mattered. To close that gap Airtel adopted Workplace from Meta, using Workplace Live to make leadership coaching and Q&A sessions visible beyond the few stores leaders could physically visit.

Using Workplace from Meta, Airtel set up a pan‑India group where the CEO and other leaders broadcast live interactions from store visits, share learnings, and invite feedback so best practices and coaching are visible to all circles. The approach scaled coaching and two‑way dialogue across hundreds of stores, enabled more frequent leader-to‑frontline engagement, and made store-level insights available across all 22 circles, improving knowledge sharing and frontline capability at scale.
