Report facilities repair needs across campus

Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), one of Singapore’s largest multi‑disciplinary hospitals with over 8,000 staff and a sprawling campus of clinical departments and specialist centres, struggled with time‑critical facilities and equipment reporting across a 24/7 operation. To overcome reliance on slow hotlines and email helpdesks—especially with a dispersed workforce—TTSH adopted Workplace from Meta (the Workplace platform) to simplify and standardize internal reporting.

Using Workplace from Meta, staff post to open “FIX IT” groups with a pinned reporting template and photos or videos so Facilities can respond immediately; this replaced phone trees and multiple roll calls. The change reduced time to resolution, increased recognition for behind‑the‑scenes staff and visibility for facilities management, and drove strong adoption—over 75% of the workforce on the platform, more than 100 active groups and about 300 posts per week (Dec 2017).
