RBS wins a digital innovation award thanks to Workplace

RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) faced the challenge of making executive, invite-only events accessible across a large organization and boosting internal engagement. As an early adopter of Workplace (they onboarded in 2016), RBS chose Workplace from Meta to modernize internal communications and open up leadership forums to all staff.

Workplace from Meta enabled RBS to live-stream a leadership conference across the company, with interactive features such as live panels, talent-show performances, and real-time voting that drove participation. The initiative not only removed barriers to communication and let employees attend events they previously could not, it also earned RBS the IOIC 2018 "Best Use of Interactive Media" award — a measurable recognition of the impact.
