Prepare hospital for accreditation renewal

Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) needed to prepare for its triennial Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation renewal across a large, shift-based workforce of more than 8,000 staff (about 10% working offsite). Communicating frequent process and practice changes and aligning some 3,600 nurses across different shifts and locations was a major internal-communications challenge, so TTSH adopted Workplace from Meta as its primary communications platform.

Using Workplace from Meta, TTSH created moderated closed groups (notably a “JCI Essential (Nursing)” group), shared rich media, polls and short quizzes to drive two‑way engagement and test understanding. The vendor-enabled approach improved dissemination and alignment with accreditation standards, achieved over 75% workforce adoption, and supported 100+ active groups with roughly 300 posts per week, helping TTSH streamline its JCI renewal preparations.
