Increase frontline employee engagement using Workplace

Pernambucanas, the 110‑year‑old Brazilian apparel retailer with over 10,000 employees across 324 stores in more than 230 cities, faced a key challenge: connecting frontline store workers with company leadership. To tackle this, Pernambucanas deployed Workplace from Meta (Workplace) to increase frontline employee engagement and improve internal communication.

Using Workplace from Meta, Pernambucanas ran the #SemanaTamoJunto campaign in which about 30 executives visited all 324 stores, sharing live videos in advance, during, and after the visits while employees posted response videos. The initiative enabled real‑time dialogue across the network, directly engaged more than 10,000 employees, and ensured leadership’s strategy and celebration of the company’s 110th anniversary reached every store.
