Ginger Hotels, an Indian "Smart Basics" hotel chain, needed to raise visibility of its learning and development offerings, boost employee participation in trainings, and gather actionable feedback. To tackle this the L&D team used Workplace from Meta, creating an internal open group called "Learnings @ Ginger" to centralize program information and showcase sessions.

On Workplace from Meta the team posts training announcements, shares photos/video from sessions, publicly celebrates completions and certificates to gamify participation, and collects feedback via post comments. The initiative improved visibility, engagement and participation; Ginger reported 100% of ~900 employees on the platform (85% monthly active) and an internal study showing a 28% efficiency improvement, 51% productivity improvement, 25% attrition reduction and a first‑year ROI of 7.4x (assuming 20% realization).
