Crowdsource and develop ideas by collaborating with external consultants

Miroglio Group, an Italian high-fashion retailer with 1,200 branded stores and more than 3,500 employees, needed a way to run design discussions that included both staff and external design consultants. To address this they used Workplace from Meta, creating a dedicated Workplace group that served as an e-learning and collaboration space to crowdsource, share, and develop design ideas and inspiration.

Workplace from Meta’s group functionality let Miroglio onboard an external consultant directly (until multi-company groups were available), enabling real-time idea sharing and iterative design development and establishing a repeatable process for cross-company collaboration. Miroglio Group now recommends creating a multi-company group, pinning a purpose post, and encouraging regular contributions to sustain idea generation across its global retail and design teams.
