Create one stop shop for global sales meeting

Illumina, a global leader in DNA sequencing, needed a one-stop shop to build community, excitement, and engagement around its annual Global Sales Meeting before, during, and after the event. To address this, Illumina used Workplace from Meta (Workplace) to create a centralized event group for logistics, Q&A, conference resources and interactive polls.

Workplace from Meta was deployed with event groups, live polls, and on-site activation (photobooths and selfie stations); Illumina successfully rolled Workplace out to 100% of employees in early 2017 and embedded it in core communication processes. The solution drove sustained engagement—leadership posts, videos, recaps and attendee updates continued to be shared more than a month after the meeting—showing strong adoption and ongoing impact.
