A mobile workforce, productive while on the go

UST Global, a global IT services firm with some 18,000 employees in the Americas, needed a better way to communicate and collaborate as part of its digital transformation. Other tools failed to gain adoption, email-based collaboration kept new ideas siloed, and a largely under-40, highly mobile workforce was turning to personal apps to stay productive. Workplace from Meta was chosen to address these gaps.

Workplace from Meta was rolled out and saw rapid uptake—over 700 team and project groups created within two months, with more than 50% of usage on mobile and 25% of the workforce using it while traveling. Senior leaders across the US, UK and India use Workplace Chat to make decisions on the go, and a post in the 6,000‑member “Innovation” group within the first week surfaced a technology that removed the need for a pending acquisition, demonstrating clear time- and cost-saving impact.
