LichtBlick, Germany’s leading green energy provider, wanted a more structured way to execute strategy and improve alignment, transparency, focus, and accountability across the organization. Before adopting OKRs, teams worked from ad hoc annual goals, with limited communication between departments and frequent prioritization conflicts that caused projects to stall.
Workpath helped LichtBlick roll out OKRs company-wide, starting with internal training for OKR leaders and coaches before expanding to all teams, supported by the Workpath platform and features like Contribution Requests, Conversations, and Jira integration. As a result, LichtBlick improved strategic coordination and increased average goal achievement by 13.9% to 14%, with teams that regularly update goals seeing a 13% higher goal achievement rate.
