HELLA, a global automotive supplier with about 36,000 employees, faced increasing industry volatility from COVID-19 and resource shortages and needed greater transparency, focus and alignment across geographically distributed teams. To tackle these challenges HELLA partnered with Workpath to introduce the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) framework using Workpath’s software combined with training, workshops and ongoing customer-success support.
Workpath implemented a tool-based OKR rollout, tailored training and regular check‑ins to create a single point of truth, link team and management goals, and surface dependencies. Within two cycles (six months) HELLA saw collaboration shift to globally formed teams, transparency of strategic changes double, a 14% rise in employees who felt their work impacted HELLA’s success, a ~20% increase in employees who felt processes helped achieve strategic goals, 69% saying management communicated goals well, and improved cross-team coordination (50% positive; 89% positive after three months). Workpath’s platform and advisory support enabled these measurable improvements and scalable strategy execution.
