E.ON (E.ON Energie Deutschland GmbH) faced fragmented control systems, too many simultaneous priorities, limited transparency and cumbersome tools (Excel and SharePoint) that hampered OKR adoption. To address this, the energy provider partnered with Workpath and its OKR experts to adapt the OKR framework to EDG’s needs and find a professional platform that would scale across the organization.
Workpath implemented its OKR software, provided tailored coaching and training, and enabled features such as Confidence Levels, visualization graphs, Contribution Requests and an Analytics Suite to improve prioritization, transparency and cross-team alignment. As a result of Workpath’s solution, E.ON shifted toward outcome-oriented work, reduced duplicate effort and saw the proportion of teams collaborating grow by almost a quarter, while internal enthusiasm for OKRs increased.
