WorkOS helped Visa overcome the challenge of presenting its authentication flows in a single language, which excluded over 80% of the world's non-English speaking population and hindered its ability to support global teams and expand into new international markets. The customer needed a way to localize its user-facing AuthKit elements without incurring engineering effort or translation costs.

The solution implemented by WorkOS was the launch of Localization for AuthKit, which automatically detects a user's preferred language via their browser settings and serves pre-computed translations in over 90 languages. This required zero configuration, setup, or additional costs for Visa. As a result, WorkOS enabled Visa to instantly increase conversion rates internationally and support its global user base by speaking to them in their native tongue, with all translations being seamlessly integrated into the authentication experience.
