VanEck, a New York–based asset manager, faced a growing burden: its legal team was updating statutory and summary prospectuses, SAIs, and SEC filings across roughly 70 ETFs and mutual funds in four overlapping fiscal cycles. In 2019 VanEck adopted Workiva’s connected reporting platform to centralize documents in the cloud, apply granular permissions, and link common disclosure language so one source update propagates everywhere. The platform’s collaborative markups, automatic audit trail, and familiar interface eliminated tedious retyping, enabled flexible last-minute changes without extra fees, improved version control during remote work, and delivered more consistent, scalable, and efficient SEC filing processes.
