East End Women’s Museum raises £10,000 with Working Word

The East End Women’s Museum, England's only museum dedicated to women's history, faced the challenge of raising £10,000 through a crowdfunding campaign to open a physical location. They partnered with Working Word to create compelling digital content to drive donations and tell the important untold stories of women from history.

Working Word designed an overarching look and feel for the campaign, creating a graphically-led film and a range of GIFs and graphics for social media. This content successfully told the stories of previously unheard women and drove the campaign to achieve its fundraising goal. Working Word helped the museum raise the necessary funds, and the physical museum is now set to open in Barking town centre.
