Bay & Bay Transportation Maintains a Family Culture With Workhound Feedback

Bay & Bay Transportation, a family-owned trucking and logistics company, needed a better way to keep more than 400 employees connected as the business grew. To maintain its family culture and improve driver retention, the company turned to WorkHound and its driver feedback platform, which made it easier to listen to drivers and communicate with them regularly.

Using WorkHound, Bay & Bay Transportation created open two-way communication with drivers, shared important updates during the COVID-19 pandemic, and acted on feedback to build trust. The results were strong: turnover dropped 23% in 2020, driver count increased 30%, satisfaction rose from about 6.5-6.7 to 7.35, and 85% of the 324 drivers who gave critical feedback were retained, keeping 274 drivers for an additional 30 days.
