Epic Curing launches a 35-frame campaign with Workhorse

Epic Curing, a Washington, DC-based meat-curing company, faced the challenge of launching a small-batch product line without relying on traditional faux-Victorian branding tropes common in the industry. They engaged the vendor Workhorse to develop a new brand identity and packaging system that could stand out on both grocery store shelves and online.

Workhorse created a heritage-meets-modern brand identity for Epic Curing, positioning it between old-world butcher and clinical minimalist styles. The solution included black utilitarian packaging with a hollow logo, a full-front ingredient list, and an outdoor-themed photography style. The vendor also delivered a comprehensive social media program and an event campaign, including the "End of Summer Meat Up" tastings. This new branding successfully launched the Naked Bacon line and helped the product look authentic and hand-crafted.
