The Winnipeg Jets, part of True North Sports + Entertainment, needed a better way to manage a 1,300-person workforce at Canada Life Centre. Their frontline managers were spending hours building schedules in spreadsheets, handling call-outs by phone, text, and email, and manually entering paper timesheets, which created errors and wasted labor costs. They turned to Workforce.com, using Time and Attendance, the Employee App, and Shift Replacement tools.

With Workforce.com, the Jets centralized and automated scheduling, shift coverage, time tracking, and employee self-service. Managers now use 27 schedule templates, fill open shifts faster, and standardize time clock rounding across the organization. The results included a 75% decrease in scheduling time, about 80 shift swaps per week, and 119 shifts claimed per day, freeing managers to focus more on guest experience and operational strategy.
