A Workforce.com Case Study

Preview of the Lake Elsinore Storm Case Study

The Lake Elsinore Storm go undefeated in workforce management with Workforce.com

The Lake Elsinore Storm, a minor league baseball affiliate of the San Diego Padres, needed better workforce management as fan expectations changed and the team’s operations grew across multiple stadium businesses. They lacked visibility into labor costs, struggled to predict cash flow, and had difficulty managing shift changes and staff distribution, so they turned to Workforce.com and its time and attendance, employee app, shift replacement, and labor compliance tools.

Workforce.com gave the Storm real-time scheduling, attendance, labor cost tracking, shift swapping, and payroll integration across their five entities. The results included a 75% decrease in time spent processing payroll, a payroll integration completed in one day, and better labor control that helped lift key KPIs and increase per-customer spending from about $24–$25 to $47–$48, while serving nearly 6,000 fans per game day.
