Streets Team Enterprises, a nonprofit operating across 13 cities in California’s Bay Area, helps homeless people build job skills, gain full-time work, and eventually find housing. To support this mission, it needed a simple, intuitive time and attendance system that could train employees on mobile app use, improve accountability, export accurate timesheets, and keep teams compliant with strict California break laws. Workforce.com was chosen to provide scheduling, time and attendance, an employee app, shift replacement, and labor compliance tools.

With Workforce.com, Streets Team Enterprises centralized workforce management on a cloud-based platform with a mobile app for employees and a dashboard for managers. The result was quick employee adoption, easier timesheet exports, and stronger accountability, with nearly all workers approving their own timesheets on time and management seeing only one or two outstanding by Monday. Workforce.com also helped the organization stay compliant across 13 locations, and in the first three months 250 timesheets were approved while 42 employees clocked in daily.
