Protecting 5,000 students, staff, and visitors in Year Up’s locations

Year Up, a nonprofit that helps young adults build skills and careers, needed a better way to manage health and safety across its 30+ campuses during COVID. After using spreadsheets, surveys, and a soon-to-be-retired screening tool, the organization turned to WorkEQ to find a digital solution that could support changing safety policies and help protect students, staff, and visitors.

WorkEQ implemented ReturnSafe to automate health screening and track vaccine, exemption, and testing information across Year Up’s locations. The platform was rolled out to 5,000 employees, students, and visitors, with admin controls, vaccine validation, exemption review, and RS Reader to manage entry flows and capacity. As a result, Year Up can more easily monitor compliance and keep its programs operating safely.
