Wawa, the convenience store chain, was looking to improve agility and efficiency while working with a much smaller budget and managing corporatewide staffing trends. To support its HR and IT teams, Wawa turned to Workday and Workday Services, including Jumpstart engagements, Review and Recommend sessions, Community, and Office Hours to help them get more from their existing Workday system.
Workday helped Wawa train its IT staff, streamline inefficient workflows, and quickly prototype and deploy new modules and features, including during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, Wawa connected its IT staff with experts for on-demand project help, enabled access to Workday development and product teams, and increased the ROI of its existing investments, while cutting prototype time in half compared with doing the work internally or hiring a contractor.
