TalkTalk is a leading UK telecom headquartered in London with ~2,500 employees and 4 million customers. As the company grew through organic expansion and acquisitions, its outdated HR and recruitment systems created manual processes, poor manager visibility, and a weak employee experience that limited HR’s ability to be strategic.

TalkTalk deployed Workday in a six-month “big bang” rollout—consolidating seven legacy systems into Workday with 13 integrations (including ADP payroll)—to provide a single source of HR data and a consumer-grade user experience. Within a month 90% of users logged in; time-to-hire fell 10% to 33 days; internal referrals rose from 5% to 13%; agency spend dropped from 13% to 8%; payroll accuracy reached ~99.9–100%; and HR shifted to spending 65–70% of its time on strategic initiatives.
