The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE)—which includes two doctoral universities, a state college, four community colleges, and an environmental research institute—needed to modernize operations across its campuses. NSHE struggled with disparate, highly customized legacy systems that limited automation, slowed transactions, and hindered integration across HR and finance.

NSHE implemented a full suite of Workday cloud applications—including Financial Management, Human Capital Management, Payroll, Time Tracking, Expenses, Procurement, Grants, Recruiting, Benefits, Talent Management, and Compensation—to create a single system of record. As a result, processes are standardized, approvals are fully digitized, campuses can manage role and security administration locally, and more than 20 point solutions have been eliminated.
