The University of Queensland (UQ) needed to streamline faculty and HR processes so staff could spend less time on administration and more time supporting students. Using Workday, UQ aimed to improve data visibility, automate workflows, and speed up decision-making across the university.

Workday implemented streamlined workflows, a single HR dashboard, and data visualization tools that helped leaders act faster and more accurately. As a result, many core processes were cut in half, the university completed 1 million approvals in the first year, and 35,000 online learning course enrollments were supported. Workday’s deployment also helped UQ earn an Australian HR Excellence Award.
