Case Study: Club Med transforms HR and boosts talent retention with Workday

A Workday Case Study

Preview of the Club Med Case Study

Club Med - Customer Case Study

Club Med, a global resort operator with 69 locations, €1.561 billion in 2018 revenue and about 25,000 employees, needed an HR overhaul to support rapid expansion (3–5 new resorts a year) without sacrificing its signature service and people-first culture. The existing HR system couldn’t support the company’s "Happy Digital" strategy or help recruit and retain roughly 8,000 new and high-turnover seasonal staff each year.

Club Med implemented Workday globally—covering HCM, recruiting, learning, time tracking, expenses and absences—to digitize HR for all 25,000 employees. The platform improved onboarding, made talent data available anytime/anywhere, helped managers set objectives, accelerated identification and retention of valuable seasonal staff, and supported career development. As a result, Workday became a companywide reference for digital transformation, boosting retention, learning adoption and operational consistency with twice-yearly updates keeping the system state-of-the-art.
