Rapid growth exposed limits in its tech stack: multiple daily logins, heavy reliance on Excel, poor financial transparency and fragmented processes made it hard to scale, collaborate, and maintain the agility needed for a product-led digital bank.
N26 implemented Workday across Finance, HR and Planning to consolidate systems into a single platform, deliver real-time financial and workforce data, and enable end-user self-service. The change cut reliance on spreadsheets, improved cross-team collaboration, shortened the global month-end close to five days, increased productivity and user satisfaction, and freed teams to focus on customer-facing innovation.
