Case Study: QinetiQ achieves higher engagement and empowers 600+ managers with Workday Adaptive Planning

A Workday Adaptive Planning Case Study

Preview of the QinetiQ Case Study

QinetiQ empowers managers to create a high-performance culture

QinetiQ is a leading science and engineering company serving defence, security and aerospace clients, with around 6,000 employees including 3,000+ scientists and engineers. The organisation needed to maintain a high-performance culture and improve engagement by making feedback more actionable — traditional town halls and annual surveys left momentum and insight on the table and managers without timely, practical information.

By adopting Workday Peakon Employee Voice and an “Enabling Managers” programme, QinetiQ shared survey results transparently, empowered more than 600 managers to act on feedback, and launched a Rewarding for Performance framework alongside the ThankQ peer-recognition scheme. The approach closed the feedback loop through group action plans and focused, one-at-a-time improvements, producing year-on-year engagement gains and a 15% improvement in the Reward driver.
