A Workday Adaptive Planning Case Study
IRT is a community‑owned nonprofit that provides housing and care for older Australians across more than 35 communities and 100 cost centres. As the organisation grew, its finance team relied on siloed spreadsheets and manual consolidation, making forecasting and reconciliation labour‑intensive, error‑prone and leaving little time for strategic analysis or timely responses to changes in occupancy and funding.
Working with ABM, IRT implemented Workday Adaptive Planning to establish a single source of truth and streamline planning. Forecasts that once took weeks of manual work can now be prepared in about three weeks and produced twice yearly, monthly reports are generated with a single click via OfficeConnect, and the team can immediately analyse the impact of occupancy or funding changes—giving faster, more accurate insight for decision‑making.
