Össur, a global leader in non‑invasive orthopedics that makes prosthetics, bracing, and supports to improve mobility, needed to scale product education for employees and healthcare professionals worldwide. Their legacy learning system was siloed and manual—requiring hand‑created users, enrollments, and team management—so rapid growth and pandemic-driven demand made a cloud solution essential for delivering timely, board‑certified training and continuing education.

Össur implemented Workday Learning and Workday Learning for Extended Enterprise, giving single sign‑on, mobile access, multilingual content, and automated workflows. Access to courses expanded (internal learners rose from about 1,000 to 3,500), monthly completions increased, employees now have 1,000+ courses in 13 languages, customers can choose from 30 product courses, and external learners across 15 countries can download time‑stamped certificates—freeing the team to build modular programs and improving certificate and enrollment management.
