A Workday Adaptive Planning Case Study
Eon Chemicals, a Jakarta-based specialty chemicals manufacturer founded in 1987 with about 500 employees, was expanding across Indonesia and Asia but hampered by fragmented HR and finance systems. Existing tools created administrative burdens, limited reporting insights, and could not support internal talent development without external help.
Eon implemented Workday’s unified HR and Finance platform to gain agility, automation, and better decision support, enabling faster organizational changes and self-service processes. Results included faster onboarding (5 to 2 days), a 3% reduction in finance cost as a percent of revenue, 36% fewer manual journal entries, a 58% smaller chart of accounts, 25% lower DSO, 33% shorter close cycles, 70% monthly mobile login adoption, and improved talent and performance management.
