Seneca College, a Toronto-based Applied Arts & Technology institution with 10 campuses and over 30,000 full‑time students, needed a way to communicate with tens of thousands of new starters and deliver an accessible, global virtual orientation. To extend the reach of its traditional open house and ensure students received pre‑semester information, Seneca College engaged WorkCast to provide a virtual events platform for live and pre‑recorded streaming, interactive Q&A, and attendee communications.

WorkCast created a fully branded landing page, managed registrations and email workflows, and hosted a mix of live and on‑demand sessions with live chat and Q&A to maximize engagement. The WorkCast‑powered virtual open house produced 1,238 registrations, a 72% attendance rate and over 370 questions asked, and Seneca College plans to run several similar events following the success.
