How AkzoNobel used webinars to improve the way they deliver Internal Communications

AkzoNobel Decorative Paints UKI faced a costly, time-consuming internal-communications challenge: coordinating eight senior speakers to deliver the same strategy presentations at six regional face-to-face meetings for up to 1,000 staff. To reach its diverse UK & Ireland workforce more efficiently, AkzoNobel turned to WorkCast for a webinar/web-conferencing solution.

WorkCast built and supported a bespoke one‑hour webinar (using its Contributor event pages, on-site production, rehearsals and on-demand service), allowing AkzoNobel to replace six regional meetings with a single streamed event. The webinar topped 500 live viewers with another ~500 expected on demand, cut speaker delivery time to one hour, eliminated extensive travel/facility costs and lost work‑hours, and has led AkzoNobel to plan more frequent WorkCast webinars.
