Durham University Business School wanted to recreate the experience of its physical open days online to extend global reach and maintain professional quality. To do this they partnered with WorkCast, using the WorkCast platform and its features (live Q&A, branding tools and in-built reporting) to host a Virtual Open Day that would give prospective students a comparable, fully branded experience.

WorkCast helped DUBS deliver 16 filmed sessions, talking‑head content with live Q&A, a resource page for course materials, and granular analytics to track engagement. The event exceeded registration targets by 36%, achieved over 60% attendee engagement, and attracted 26.5% international registrants, demonstrating WorkCast’s impact on reach and measurable event performance.
