Aspin, a UK firm founded in 1984 that builds sales order processing apps (including the PixSell iPad app and InterSell B2B sites), faced fragmented customer data spread across multiple departmental databases. The business needed a flexible, web-based CRM that would give a single 360° view of customers and support a consistent sales process whether staff were in the office or on the road.
In 2014 Aspin implemented Workbooks CRM to centralise leads, quotes, orders, invoices, support cases and activities, with integrations to finance and Outlook. The result was quicker information sharing, a streamlined prospect-to-cash process, granular KPI reporting and improved forecasting — giving management greater visibility, control and predictability, and enabling the company to scale best practices and pursue marketing automation next.
