Ultima Media is a global B2B publishing and events business serving the automotive industry. As its product portfolio and customer lists grew it ended up with around 15 different data sources, leaving teams with no single view of customers, slow, labour‑intensive marketing, poor reporting and an inability to make data‑driven decisions.

Ultima chose Workbooks CRM (implemented from May 2018) to create a single source of data, migrate records quickly and roll out marketing automation, web insights and joined‑up sales workflows. The platform gave visibility across sales, marketing and editorial, improved decision‑making and smarter prospecting — one salesperson credited web insights with winning about ten new accounts (around five times more new prospects than before) — and helped accelerate the company’s broader digital transition.
