Spotler switched from Microsoft Dynamics to Workbooks CRM

Spotler (formerly Communigator) is a UK-based marketing automation and lead-generation software provider offering an all‑in‑one inbound and outbound platform. Faced with rising Dynamics 365 licence costs and complex CRM processes, Spotler wanted to reduce expenses, improve account management and customer engagement, and gain clearer business visibility — prompting a switch to Workbooks following a shared success workshop to define priorities.

Workbooks was implemented in February 2020 with admin and reporting training, careful data migration using custom fields, and a new customer portal and ticketing workflow. The result: lower licence costs, cleaner and more accessible data, faster, more proactive customer support that reduced churn, and better-aligned sales and marketing with unified pipeline and reporting — with further plans to add order processing and Xero integration.
