A Workbooks Case Study

Preview of the CABA Case Study

A Single View of Information & Relationships, Improved Intelligence and Enhanced Marketing

Chartered Accountants' Benevolent Association (CABA) is a UK charity supporting current and former ICAEW members and their families with financial support, counselling and wellbeing services. Faced with an aging bespoke Access system that left data siloed, incomplete and hard to report on, the charity could not reliably track beneficiaries, relationships or donations and needed a simpler, more adoptable CRM — so they invited 31 vendors and chose Workbooks for its ease of use and flexibility.

Workbooks CRM was customized and migrated to capture cases, payment schedules (with multi-currency support and Sage export) and donation records, with user acceptance testing and training to ensure adoption. The result is a single view of all data, improved donor intelligence and enhanced marketing capability: CABA can now process cases end-to-end, target campaigns using donor demographics, reclaim gift aid and "monitor and evaluate all of our information at the click of a button."
