Secureworks, led on people strategy by Chief People Officer Stacie Hagan, faced a common transformation challenge: a lack of focus and alignment across the organization that made it hard to prioritize work and coordinate cross-functional efforts. Leadership wanted a system to create clarity, encourage better prioritization, and drive organizational alignment during rapid change.
Secureworks adopted the OKR methodology with WorkBoard—starting with the executive team, coach certification and an enterprise rollout of the platform—to make objectives and key results transparent, enable weekly short check-ins and running business reviews, and build internal OKR coaches. The result was measurable: greater energy and urgency, stronger accountability and learning, real‑time KR tracking, a cultural shift toward “red means learning,” 38 trained coaches, and a more aligned, iterative budgeting and planning process.
