Supporting Families Together Association (SFTA) is a statewide nonprofit that supports eight independent child care resource and family resource agencies across Wisconsin. When their legacy tool could no longer meet needs for referrals, provider tracking, trainings and reporting, SFTA needed a solution that would aggregate statewide data for reporting while preserving each agency’s autonomy.

Bigger Boat Consulting built a core Salesforce system and deployed it to individual agency instances, then used Workato to sync key objects (Accounts, Referrals, providers) across the eight systems. The integration automated create/update syncing, gave SFTA a holistic view for funder reporting, enabled online referrals without logins, and let each regional agency continue to manage its own local data.
