Tides Canada is a national leader in social-change philanthropy, supporting thousands of environmental and social initiatives across the country. Moving from an all‑in‑one system to best‑of‑breed apps, the nonprofit needed a reliable, affordable way to keep Salesforce (donor CRM) and NetSuite (financials) in sync so teams could accurately forecast, report, and avoid time‑consuming CSV work and manual errors.
Working with Exponent Partners, Tides Canada implemented Workato to automate bi‑directional integration between Salesforce and NetSuite in a few months. The integration improved reporting and uptime, simplified error handling and maintenance, enabled future cloud app adoption (HR and payments), and reduced staffing needs by roughly 1–2 full‑time equivalents.
